Job Description

Sahara Nepal is a leading National Non-Government Organization (N/NGO) Nepal for social transformation and development through various projects and programs. For an upcoming WASH project Sahara Nepal, is looking for a dynamic team player in the following position based in for Rasuwa and/or Nuwakot Districts. 

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for overall administrative and financial management, budget planning,
  • Implementation of organizational policies and procedures and day to day financial transaction of the program.
  • Skill and Knowledge of preparing journal voucher, control ledger, Bank reconciliation and other related financial reports as per the provided formats of the donor.
  • Maintain good written and verbal communication skill in English and Nepali; good skills on computer applications (Excel and other Financial Software), Preparation of auditing and must have sound knowledge of taxation.
  • Administrative duties and responsibilities are to conduct works related to general administration, assets management, coordination, procurement function, inventory
  • management, etc.
  • Work in close coordination with  program team, internal auditor for any support or guidance.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or relevant field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes.
  • Outstanding analytical and time management skills.
  • Sound knowledge of Accounting Standards
