Qualifications and Experience

A. Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. 

B. Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in finance and administration, preferably trading sector.
  • Demonstrated experience in financial accounting and reporting.
  • Experience with financial software/ERPs (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, Sage).
  • Experience in procurement and logistics management.

Job Description

Mobilemandu and Gadgets and Accessories Pvt Ltd is a growing name in trading and e-commerce, specializing in the distribution of mobile phones, gadgets, and electronic accessories across Nepal. We are committed to delivering quality products and exceptional customer service through both retail and digital platforms.

Position Summary:

The Admin and Finance Assistant is responsible for overseeing and managing all administrative, financial, and human resources functions of Mobilemandu Gadgets and Accessories Pvt Ltd. This role ensures the efficient and compliant operation of the office, adherence to organizational policies and procedures, and sound financial management.

Reports To: Finance Manager

Key Responsibilities:

A. Financial Management (Approx. 60% of time)

1. Accounting and Record Keeping:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and supporting documentation.
  • Process all financial transactions (payments, receipts, journal entries) in accordance with organizational policies and accounting standards.
2. Financial Reporting:

  • Prepare a regular VAT return file.
  • Make party confirmation on the ledger on a monthly basis

B. Administrative Management (Approx. 40% of time)

1. Office Management:

  • Manage office supplies, equipment, and inventory.
  • Oversee maintenance and repair of office equipment and facilities.
  • Manage utilities and other office-related service contracts.
  • Visit bank for deposit of cheque and to obtain statements and confirmations.
  • Make NTA type approval documents
  • Ensure the stock of the company each month.
  • Manage vehicle log sheet and servicing of office bike 
  • Establish and maintain efficient physical and electronic filing systems for all administrative and financial documents.
  • Track and manage staff leave records (annual leave, sick leave, etc.).
