Marybert School is a primary school established in the year 2002 AD (2059BS) at Bafal, Lalitpur, Nepal that is determined to deliver quality education. The school was established to meet the demand of the parents to provide a school culture that is focused on striving for excellence in education and behaviour whilst preparing our pupils for the demands of the high schools in the capital. With more than two decades of educational experience, we are now entering our next phase of improvements and expansion allowing us to further prepare Nepal’s global citizens of tomorrow.

Marybert School complex is situated in a peaceful, still, tranquil and population free  area with excellent links to the main roads.  The school is a five minute walk to the swimming complex and ANFA football ground, providing further facilities nearby.

  •  Bachelor’s (BBS/BBA) with more than or equal to 5 years experience in a related field.
  • Sound knowledge of accounting software.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of management and across the organization with excellent communication and peer leadership ability.
  • High initiative and self-motivated, ability to work independently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications and other relevant software.
  • Strong organizational, and time management skills along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills in English.
  • Approachable and able to deal with parents in occasional difficult and sensative situations regarding finances.

Job Description

  • Responsible for the overall management of academic and administrative issues for high-quality smooth operation of the school.
  • Respond immediately to concerns from parents and school board.
  • Manage all required activities that are important for the school operation.
  • Attending and participating in meetings with staff, parents, and other officials.
  • Manage all accounting transactions.
  • Must have sound knowledge of Nepal Tax.
  • Reconcile all bank accounts and resolve all issues in processing the financial statements.
  • Proper and correct entries of transaction into the accounting software.
  • Maintain and update the status of accounts receivables and payables.
  • Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
  • Responsible to receive and verify bills and requisitions for goods and services.

Other Duties and Responsibilities

Any other reasonable duties/responsibilities that the Head of School may ask the postholder to perform from time to time.
