We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Accounts Officer to join our finance team. The ideal candidate should hold at least a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, possess a minimum of 3 years of experience as an accountant, and demonstrate proficiency in MS applications and accounting software. Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost accounting, cost control principles, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) is essential. Strong communication skills are also required for effective collaboration within the team and across departments.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
• Assist in the preparation and management of budgets.
  
• Implement and maintain cost accounting procedures.
  
• Prepare and present financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
  
• Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting regulations and standards.
  
• Utilize accounting software and MS applications for efficient financial management and reporting.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights.
  
• Identify opportunities for process improvement in financial operations.
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an accountant.
• Proficient in MS applications and accounting software.
• Familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and other relevant accounting regulations.
