Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Accounts Manager to join our organization. As a senior-level candidate, you will be responsible for managing financial operations and maintaining the financial health of our company.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and review financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
Oversee accounts payable and receivable.
Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
Manage general ledger and assist in month-end and year-end close processes.
Prepare and file tax returns ensuring compliance with local regulations.
Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations.
Handle TDS and payroll management.
Develop and implement internal control procedures to enhance financial accuracy and prevent fraud.
Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audits.
Address and resolve any discrepancies identified during audits.
Supervise, mentor, and verify the work of assistant accounting staff.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Prepare and maintain documentation for compliance and audit purposes.

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Graduate (Masters)

Required Experience:More than 5 years

Required Age:More than 30 years

Other Specification

Master's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, or Chartered Accountancy.
Minimum of 5 years in accounting or finance roles, preferably in manufacturing, trading companies, or audit firms.
High proficiency in accounting software.
Advanced knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel, VBA, Power Query and coding.
In-depth understanding of financial regulations and accounting principles.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Excellent supervision and delegation abilities.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Knowledge in an IT background is the most.
