Roles and responsibilities of this job

The Accounts/ Finance Manager is responsible for smooth financial operations of the organization to facilitate financial effectiveness and efficiency. You will report to the General Manager and shall be responsible for providing overall financial management to the company.

Responsibilities:

Preparation of budgets
Supervise a team of Accountants
Allocate resources and manage cash flows
Conduct profit and cost analyses
Ensure all accounting activities and internal audits comply with financial regulations
Drive the financial planning of the company by analyzing its performance and risks
Prepare timely and detailed reports on financial performance on a quarterly and annual basis
Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the company
Responsible for the production of year end statutory accounts and agree finalization with external auditor

Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in accounting with 10 years of progressive in financial management or Chartered Accountant with 5 years of progressive experience in a manufacturing organization.
Previous experience in a management role at senior level in a Finance Environment
Sound knowledge of Nepalese Tax Laws
Must have a knowledge of Manufacturing cost accounting, Commodity price exposure, Inventory valuation required
Knowledge in implementation of internal controls, budgets, expense & sales forecasting systems will be highly preferred
Strong presentation and communication skills is a must
