Job Description

Reporting to: Accounts – HOD
Coordination with: All concerned Department 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To achieve accounting operational objectives by contributing accounting information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews. 
  • Confirms financial status by monitoring revenue and expenses; coordinating the collection, consolidation, and evaluation of financial data; preparing special reports. 
  • Guides other departments by researching and interpreting accounting policy; applying observations and recommendations to operational issues. 
  • Maintains financial security by establishing internal controls.
  • Data entry, reconciliation and cross verify the entries and data’s.

Core and Daily Responsibilities:

  • Establish, maintain, and coordinate the implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures. 
  • Prepare profit and loss statements, Balance sheet and monthly closing and cost accounting reports. 
  • Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness and conformance to reporting and procedural standards 
  • Analyze Sales, revenue and expenditure trends and recommend appropriate budget levels, and ensure expenditure control. 
  • Compute taxes owed and prepare tax and VAT returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting and other tax requirements. 
  • Supervise and Monitor overall accounting, financial, Warehouse activities of organization and advice for smooth operation. 
  • Correspond with debtors and creditors and settlements of claims, adjustments for accounts reconciliation and verification for accounts. 
  • Coordinate with other department and provide support. 
  • Interact with internal and external auditors in completing audits. 
  • Other duties as assigned.
