The Account Officer is responsible to prepare monthly MIS reports and ensure compliance with statutory requirements. Submission of reports as per timelines. Reconciliation of accounts.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly reconciliation.
  
• Prepare and file monthly returns.
• Document all transactions.
• Ensuring Statutory compliance
• Understand and document updates and changes in accounting law, bylaws, rules, and regulations. Make sure all statutory requirements are met accordingly.
• Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
• Update accounts receivable, Payables and issue invoices
• Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed
• Assist accounts manager in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings

Skills and Qualifications:   

• 10+2 with 4 years of experience or a Bachelor & degree in accounting with 2 years of progressive experience. 
• Sound knowledge of Nepalese Tax and excise Laws, bylaws, rules, and regulations
