Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant / Storekeeper to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring smooth inventory management, accurate financial records, and cost control at The Society

Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate daily, weekly, and monthly financial and inventory records
Prepare, verify, and process invoices, receipts, payments, and vendor transactions
Handle accounts payable and receivable, including timely vendor payments and petty cash management
Assist with monthly bank reconciliations, financial reporting, and budget tracking
Work closely with management on budgeting, expense monitoring, and cost control
Monitor and manage stock levels of food, beverages, and general supplies
Conduct regular inventory audits and maintain up-to-date stock records
Ensure proper storage, labeling, and organization of all inventory items
Coordinate with kitchen and service teams to fulfill stock requests efficiently
Track consumption patterns, identify wastage or shortages, and recommend improvements
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in storage areas

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 1 year

Other Specification

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Minimum of 1 years experience in accounting and storekeeping roles
Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Detail-oriented and able to work with minimal supervision
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
Familiarity with inventory management systems and procedures
