Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities, maintain accurate financial records, and support tax and financial compliance. The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of relevant experience and good knowledge of VAT and Income Tax in Nepal.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain daily accounting records and financial transactions.
Manage sales, purchases, expenses, receipts, and payments.
Prepare invoices, vouchers, bills, and financial documents.
Handle accounts payable and receivable.
Perform regular bank and cash reconciliation.
Monitor outstanding payments and follow up with clients when required.
Prepare financial and accounting reports.
Handle VAT-related records, documentation, and compliance.
Assist with Income Tax calculations and filing.
Maintain proper records for audits and tax purposes.
Coordinate with auditors, banks, and tax consultants when required.
Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Maintain confidentiality of financial information.
Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned.

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 1 year

Other Specification

Bachelor’s degree in BBS, Accounting, Finance, Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounting or a related position.
Good knowledge of Nepalese VAT and Income Tax.
Knowledge of accounting software and MS Excel.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Two-wheeler driving license is preferred.
