Roles and responsibilities of this job

Classic Diamond (Jewels Craft) is seeking a qualified and experienced Accountant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting with strong proficiency in Tally software, a Bachelor's degree in Management, and at least 2 years of experience in accounting roles. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining records, and preparing financial statements.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and bank reconciliation.
Diligently maintain accurate books of accounts, ledgers, journals, and accounting records.
Guarantee compliance with tax regulations and lead tax filing processes.
Contribute to the preparation and management of company budgets.
Ensure timely payment processing and assist in payroll processing to ensure accurate and timely salary disbursement.
Manage the preparation VAT records and submission of ETDS, VAT and other returns as necessary.
Coordinate with auditors for audits, banks and external parties as necessary.
Handle inventory accounting from purchase of raw materials through production processes to finished goods and sales.
Undertake additional accounting-related responsibilities as needed.

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 2 years

Other Specification

Bachelor’s degree in Management or related field.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in accounting.
Experience in manufacturing company is a plus (but optional).
Proficiency in accounting software is a must and experience in Tally software is a plus.
Microsoft Excel skills highly desired.
Strong understanding of Nepali accounting principles and tax regulations.
Attention to detail and high accuracy in financial data management.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
