Roles and responsibilities of this job

Our Sansar are looking for an Accountant to help us with the smooth running of the projects.

All our projects are based in Madhesh Pradesh and the role will require travel between Janakpur, Birgunj and Rautahat. We are looking for someone with at least 2 years of accounting experience who is able to communicate effectively in Nepali and English. Attention to detail is a must.

Responsibilities:

Checking of the monthly project cashbooks and budgets
Bank reconciliation
Assistance with preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports and working closely with the external auditor to have these completed in a timely manner
Checking of receipts and expenses
Ensuring compliance with all necessary regulations
Assisting with reporting for Social Welfare Council and other authorities

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 1 year

Other Specification

Experience with managing budgets, finance, record keeping is a must
Strong communication skills in Nepali and English
Ability to work towards tight deadlines
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
Passion for charity work
Flexibility

Salary: 30,000 Rs a month, accommodation and food provided at our project sites, and health insurance.
