Job Description

1. Basic Accounting: To prepare vouchers and data entry in software for up-to-date financial data preparation

  • Voucher Preparations of petty cash, POS, Bank, Inter Branch/Company adjustments, TDS, Pre-paid and Advance Expenses, Adjustment and Reconciliation
  • Date entry of cash and bank, journal, sales, sales return, purchase, purchase return, debit/credit notes, Challan

2. Reconciliation: For any mistakes, errors

  • Cash and Bank- Cash Book and Bank Statement and Parties
  • TDS Receivables/Payables- monthly basis up to verification including the collection of required documents
  • Obtaining balance confirmation from parties

3. Online Submission/Verifications and Tax Related:

  • VAT and TDS Payables
  • TDS Receivables
  • Facilitating tax Audit and full audit
  • Follow up for mismatch
  • Tax-related reconciliation
  • Visiting tax office, when required

4. Organizational/ Interpersonal Related

  • To coordinate with different internal departments and stores for timely and accurate reporting
  • To followup with clients for accurate and timely accounting for VAT and Tax
  • To maintain accuracy in inventories

5. Software Related

  • Coordinating and communicating with software company, in case of any software-related situation

6. Costing

  • Computation of cost of product
  • Nullifying the TT account
  • Follow up with custom agent for documents

7. Other tasks as required.
