Founded in 2001 by distinguished English scholars, Institute of Advanced Communication, Education, and Research (IACER) stands as a pioneer college in Nepal affiliated to Pokhara University. As the first in Nepal to embrace the latest global trends in English studies along with semester-based Bachelor of English and Communication Studies (BECS), interdisciplinary MA and MPhil English programs, IACER offers cutting-edge courses designed to foster literary excellence and market-driven skills.

We are open to ALL disciplines. Students with a +2 degree in any discipline can join our BECS program; the eligibility for the interdisciplinary MA in English program is a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; and for the MPhil in English program, the eligibility is a Master’s degree in any discipline.

Our fee is affordable and we provide full and partial scholarships to the deserving students on a merit and need-based basis. MPhil students can also apply for the UGC MPhil Fellowship.
