We are open to ALL disciplines. Students with a +2 degree in any discipline can join our BECS program; the eligibility for the interdisciplinary MA in English program is a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; and for the MPhil in English program, the eligibility is a Master’s degree in any discipline.

Our fee is affordable and we provide full and partial scholarships to the deserving students on a merit and need-based basis. MPhil students can also apply for the UGC MPhil Fellowship.

Job Description

The Accountant is responsible for the management and reporting of the financial data of the college. The main duties include preparing financial statements, examining and analyzing the accounts of the college, and ensuring compliance with financial reporting and other standard accounting procedures.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Manage all financial transactions of the Institute.
  • Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
  • Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
  • Compute taxes and prepare tax returns.
  • Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements.
  • Publish financial statements in time.
  • Prepare financial transactions and documents for audit.
  • Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary.
  • Comply with financial policies and regulations.
