Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to manage and oversee our financial records, transactions, and reporting. The ideal candidate will ensure accuracy and transparency in all financial matters, support day-to-day accounting operations, and work closely with management to maintain the financial health of the organization. This role offers an opportunity to work in a vibrant cultural environment promoting authentic Nepali and Tibetan art.

Key Responsibilities:

A. Accounting & Bookkeeping:

  • Maintain accurate records of all financial
  • transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
  • Maintain general ledger entries and reconciliations.

B. Tax & Compliance:

  • Handle VAT and tax filing processes as per Nepali regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with government and financial regulations.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and tax offices when necessary.

C. Invoicing & Billing:

  • Prepare invoices and manage accounts receivable/payable.
  • Track outstanding payments and follow up with customers or vendors.

D. Payroll & Expense Management:

  • Manage employee salary calculations, deductions, and disbursements.
  • Record and monitor business expenses and suggest cost-effective improvements.

E. Coordination:

  • Work closely with the sales, store, and management teams to ensure accurate financial planning.
  • Provide financial insights and support for business decisions.
