Accountant

We are looking for a qualified and detail-oriented Accountant with over two years of experience in managing accounting operations within the Trading sector. The ideal candidate must have expertise in Value Added Tax (VAT) procedures, along with sound knowledge of taxation applicable to construction businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting functions including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger.
• Handle VAT computation, returns, and compliance as per government regulations.
• Maintain accurate books of accounts specific to customers and suppliers.
• Prepare and file monthly/quarterly tax returns, including TDS, VAT, etc.
• Assist in audit preparation, financial reporting.
• Provide support for month-end and year-end closing procedures
• Timely stock auditing.
• Coordinate with external auditors, consultants, and statutory bodies when required.
