Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and efficient Accountant to join our team at Winsome English Boarding School. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing the financial activities of our school. Your expertise in accounting principles, methods, and techniques will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our institution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, budgeting and forecasting, and payroll processing
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports according to established deadlines
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with laws and regulations
  • Organize and maintain financial records and documents in a systematic manner
  • Monitor cash flow and manage daily banking activities, including deposits and reconciliations
  • Collaborate with other departments to develop and monitor budgets and provide financial support and advice
  • Participate in the preparation and analysis of financial data for board meetings and other relevant meetings
  • Keep updated with changes in accounting and tax regulations and ensure compliance
  • Maintain confidentiality of all financial information and perform other related duties as assigned.
