Job Description

Lucky Jewellers is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Accountant to join our team at a mid-level position. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing the financial records and transactions of our organization, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date books of accounts, preparing periodic reports for management to support decision-making and meet regulatory and contractual requirements.
  • Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoicing, collections, and payment processing.
  • Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and file periodic returns and financial reports with regulatory authorities such as the IRD, NRB, and others.
  • Analyze financial data to provide actionable insights and recommendations to management.
  • Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure accurate, real-time bookkeeping and reporting.
  • Stay updated on emerging trends in the jewellery industry and evolving accounting regulations to ensure compliance and adopt best practices.
