Lucky Jewellers is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Accountant to join our team at a mid-level position. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing the financial records and transactions of our organization, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date books of accounts, preparing periodic reports for management to support decision-making and meet regulatory and contractual requirements.
Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies.
Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoicing, collections, and payment processing.
Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
Prepare and file periodic returns and financial reports with regulatory authorities such as the IRD, NRB, and others.
Analyze financial data to provide actionable insights and recommendations to management.
Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure accurate, real-time bookkeeping and reporting.
Stay updated on emerging trends in the jewellery industry and evolving accounting regulations to ensure compliance and adopt best practices.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the jewellery sector.
Strong understanding of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software, particularly Tally Prime, and MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
Fluent English & Nepali Language including Nepali Typing & Report Writing
