DCWC Community Hospital lies in Nagre Gagarche, Chaurideurali - 2, Rural Municipality, Rajbash in Kavre District of Nepal. It is 15 beds Hospital and in operation since 2010. It has good number of medical staffs lead by Medical Doctor and well equipped with X-ray, Lab Facilities, Pharmacy, 24 hour Emergency, OPD and In Patient services. In addition 24/7 Ambulance Service. The extension and improvement plans are still in progress.

Among many VDCs of the Kavre district, the Nagre Gagarche VDC is one of the most remote of the district and is a junction of Sindhupalchok, Dolakha and Ramechhap districts.

Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Accountant to join our team at DCWC Community Hospital, a non-governmental organization (NGO) dedicated to providing healthcare services to underprivileged communities. As an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial stability and transparency of our organization. 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all financial transactions and processes of DCWC Community Hospital in adherence to organizational policies and procedures. 
  • Maintain accurate records of all financial activities, including income, expenses, and budgetary allocations. 
  • Prepare and submit financial reports to the management on a regular basis. 
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate processing of financial data. 
  • Identify and implement cost-saving measures to improve the financial performance of the organization. 
  • Provide assistance in budget preparation and financial planning processes. 
  • Keep track of grant funds and ensure proper utilization in accordance with donor requirements. 
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards. 
  • Prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively, even under pressure. 
  • Utilize accounting software, such as Tally, for accurate and efficient financial management. 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or a related field from a recognized institution. 
  • Minimum of 2 years of work experience in accounting or finance, with a preference for candidates who have worked in NGOs. 
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices. 
  • Proficiency in using accounting software, such as Tally. 
  • Excellent multitasking skills and ability to work under pressure. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 

Working Days:

  • 25 days at Kathmandu Office (every month)
  • 5 days at Chaurideurali-2, Rajabas, Kavre (every month)
