Roles and responsibilities of this job

Nivil Construction is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage our financial operations efficiently. The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with taxation and financial regulations, and supporting the company’s overall financial health.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Record Management:

Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, journals, and reconciliations.
Prepare accurate and timely financial statements.

Taxation and VAT Management:

Ensure compliance with VAT and other applicable taxation regulations.
Prepare and submit VAT returns, tax filings, and other statutory reports.

Budgeting and Account Management:

Monitor company budgets and expenditure.
Assist in financial planning and forecasting.

Accounting Software Proficiency:

Utilize accounting software for day-to-day financial operations.
Generate detailed reports for management review.

Regulatory Compliance:

Stay updated with changes in financial regulations and ensure compliance.
Coordinate with auditors and external consultants as needed.

Other Duties:

Prepare payrolls and manage employee benefits.
Perform other finance-related tasks as assigned.

Required Experience:More than or equal to 3 years

Qualifications and Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting roles.
Familiarity with financial regulations and standards.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Key Skills and Competencies:

Proficiency in accounting software.
Strong knowledge of VAT and taxation regulations.
Proficient in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
