Basanta Employment is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing our financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Perform month-end and year-end close processes
• Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Monitor and analyze financial data, identifying trends and providing recommendations for improvement
• Prepare and file tax returns and other financial documents
• Develop and implement internal controls to maintain accuracy and efficiency
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial processes are aligned with company goals
• Stay updated on accounting principles and regulations to ensure compliance
• Train and mentor junior accounting staff

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA certification preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or related field
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
• Proficient in accounting software and MS Office
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
