Makalu e Traders is seeking a qualified Accountant to manage accounting functions. The role includes overseeing financial records, preparing reports, managing accounts payable/receivable, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee accounting operations for the company along with its other sister companies
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and financial discrepancies.
• Prepare financial statements and monthly reports
• Renewal of documents as required
• Manage accounts payable/receivable
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting
• Ensure tax compliance and coordinate with external auditors and provide necessary documentation
• Reconcile accounts and process payroll as needed
• Perform other duties as required to support the finance department and senior management.
• Candidates with the proficiency in handling administrative duties and social media handles would have an advantage.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or more in Accounting or related field
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software (such as Tally ERP, Excel etc.)
• Strong knowledge of tax laws and financial regulations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the similar role
• Proficiency in MS-Office
• Excellent written & verbal communication in both English & Nepali
• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills with the ability to maintain work flow at the office

Note: 

• Candidates residing inside valley & those having two wheeler license shall be given more preference.
• Working Time: 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM
