The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess strong analytical skills, and have a thorough understanding of accounting principles and practices within the travel industry.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing accounts receivable and payable processes, including invoicing, payment processing, and reconciliation.
• Assist in preparing financial statements, reports, and analyses on a regular basis to provide insights into the company's financial performance.
• Help maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger entries, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
• Assist in tracking and analyzing expenses, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to budgetary guidelines.
• Reconcile bank statements and financial records to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies or issues.
• Support the audit process by providing necessary documentation and information as requested by auditors.
• Assist in preparing tax filings and ensuring compliance with relevant tax regulations and reporting requirements.
• Provide support for various financial projects and initiatives as needed, including process improvements and system implementations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
