High View Travels & Tours is a leading travel agency specializing in providing exceptional travel experiences to our clients. We are currently seeking a diligent and experienced Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess strong analytical skills, and have a thorough understanding of accounting principles and practices within the travel industry.

Responsibilities:

Assist in managing accounts receivable and payable processes, including invoicing, payment processing, and reconciliation.
Assist in preparing financial statements, reports, and analyses on a regular basis to provide insights into the company's financial performance.
Help maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger entries, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
Assist in tracking and analyzing expenses, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to budgetary guidelines.
Reconcile bank statements and financial records to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies or issues.
Support the audit process by providing necessary documentation and information as requested by auditors.
Assist in preparing tax filings and ensuring compliance with relevant tax regulations and reporting requirements.
Provide support for various financial projects and initiatives as needed, including process improvements and system implementations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
1-2 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks).
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
