Job Description

As Felt and Yarn's Accountant, you will oversee our financial operations, manage a team, and ensure accurate Tally entries, timely VAT filings, TDS compliance, and other vital financial functions. Your expertise and leadership skills will contribute to our continued success.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure their professional growth and achieving departmental goals.
Tally Entry: Manage and supervise the accurate and timely recording of financial transactions using Tally ERP software, including data entry, reconciliation, and reporting.
VAT Filing: Prepare and file VAT returns in compliance with relevant tax regulations. Ensure the company's VAT obligations are met on time and accurately.
TDS Filing: Handle TDS compliance, including the deduction, deposit, and filing of TDS returns. Keep abreast of changes in TDS regulations and implement necessary adjustments.
Rebate and Incentive Calculation and Filing: Calculate and file rebates and incentives accurately and in compliance with applicable regulations.
Seamless Wage and Salary Management: Ensure precise management of employee wages and salary sheets, including payroll processing and compliance with payroll tax regulations.
Bank Statement Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements to ensure financial integrity, promptly identifying and addressing discrepancies.
Creditor and Debtor Records: Maintain a vigilant record of creditors and debtors, tracking outstanding payments and managing payment schedules efficiently.
Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making.
Audit Support: Assist in internal and external audits, ensuring all financial records are accurate, complete, and available for review.
Financial Compliance: Ensure compliance with all financial and tax regulations, keeping the company up-to-date with any changes in tax laws.
