Other Specification

At least Bachelor’s Degree in Accounts from a recognized university.
At least 2 years of proven experience in Import Accounting having good knowledge of TT/LC/BG procedure and other import processing works.
Efficient leadership skills
Fluency in English and Nepali language with good communication skills
Hands on knowledge of Accounting Software and MS-Office Package
Applicant with license and 2 wheeler is preferred.

Job Description

The Import Accountant shall be responsible to document and account for overall Imports as well as process for such payments.

Ensure proper documentation of Import and its complete accounting.
Arrange insurance as per the import terms and conditions.
Co-ordinate with freight forwarder and clearing agents.
Submit documents to Bank for collection and payment of Imports.
Report to CFO on monthly basis.
Other accounts related work like monthly closing, Ageing report, Reconciliation.
Other works as assigned.
