Prabina Foundation Nepal is an NGO established support orphans, marginalized children and youth living at difficult situation. Our main goal is to provide quality education and living to help them help themselves to earn livelihood and be self-reliant when grown. The other goal is to integrate the children and youth in their family gradually if they have any or to integrate them into the community with job after completion of study.

  • Bachelors in Business Studies or Business Accounting should have one year or more experience of accounting or auditing, preferably in non-profit organization 
  • Can demonstrate good accounting skills, knowledge of standard accounting principles, knowledge of taxation, legal provisions and requirements
  • Have team engagement ability, good communication skills with team members, ability to lead
  • Ability to communicate in English
  • Skills of operating accounting software (TALLY)
  • Skills of budgeting and maintaining internal control

Working Hour: 10AM - 5PM (6 days a week)

Job Description

  • Maintain bookkeeping and accounting process of the project and income and expenses
  • Review advance request & settlement from the project team for implementation of the program
  • Produce monthly financial status report to share with a partner, the senior team in the office and executive board
  • Prepare for statutory and project periodic financial audit and facilitate audit process
  • Educate project team on the financial process requirements and procedures
  • Suggest Office-in-Charge on the need of amendment and adoption of new policies, procedures on the financial management
  • Vendor dealing, negotiation and preparation of comparison sheet for vendor selection
  • Preparation of salary sheet, tax calculation and ensure time transfer of salary, and deposition of statutory taxes
