Job Description

The primary purpose of an Account Officer is to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of a company's financial transactions and records. The role involves managing financial statements, ensuring compliance with tax and regulatory requirements, and supporting financial decision-making through proper budgeting and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Record all financial transactions, including purchases, expenses, income, and maintain up-to-date maintenance of financial records, ledgers, and accounts.
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software.
  • Prepare and reconcile the bank statement.
  • Good knowledge of VAT, TDS, and assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
  • Facilitate and coordinate internal and external audits.
  • Prepare a project-wise inventory report with accurate consumption.
  • Frequently visit the site and the bank.
