Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

Process and record financial transactions including invoices, payments, and journal entries using the Financial ERP system.
Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, and receivable ledgers on a regular basis.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements, budget reports, and other financial documents.
Perform regular audits to ensure data integrity and compliance with internal controls.
Generate periodic financial reports and analysis as required by management.
Collaborate with other finance team members to resolve discrepancies and improve accounting procedures.
Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Assist with the implementation and optimization of ERP accounting modules and processes.

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than or equal to 2 years

Other Specification

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role within the Engineering industry
Excellent knowledge of accounting software, preferably ERP Software
Strong understanding of tax and VAT regulations as per government guidelines
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
