Job Description

We are seeking a competent Account Officer to join our team at Phewa Automobiles. The ideal candidate for this position should have a mid-level experience of at least 2 years in a similar role, preferably in the automotive industry. As an Account Officer, you will be responsible for managing all accounting transactions, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all accounting transactions, including accounts payable and receivable
  • Handle the monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Reconcile accounts to ensure their accuracy
  • Oversee timely bank payments and manage the company's cash flow
  • Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with taxation laws
  • Compute taxes and prepare financial statements such as balance sheets and profit/loss statements
  • Conduct audits of financial transactions and maintain proper documentation
  • Collaborate with team members to improve financial processes and procedures
  • Utilize advanced MS Excel skills for tasks such as Vlookups and pivot tables
  • Maintain and update the general ledger functions using Swastik software
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, to provide accurate financial information
