  • Strong understanding of Nepal’s tax laws and financial regulations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Nepali.

  • Ability to work independently, under high pressure and as part of a team.

Job Description

The Account Officer at Global Training Institute Pvt. Ltd., Sifal Kathmandu will be responsible for managing the company’s financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work closely with other departments to support the company's financial health.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update financial records, including general ledgers, accounts payable, and accounts receivable in English medium & digitally.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and discrepancies, providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Assist in preparing and managing budgets, ensuring spending aligns with organizational goals.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and accounting standards.
  • Assist in internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation and reports.
  • Prepare and file tax returns in compliance with local regulations.
  • Handle VAT, TDS, and other tax-related filings and ensure timely payments.
  • Work closely with the HR, procurement, training and other departments to ensure smooth financial operations and resolve any financial discrepancies.
  • Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and implement best practices for accounting systems and procedures.
  • Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure the company can meet its financial obligations.
