Job Description

The Account Officer is responsible for managing financial transactions, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and supporting the financial stability and compliance of the company. This role plays a key part in maintaining the financial health of the organization by overseeing accounts, processing payments, and preparing financial reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate financial records including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Process invoices, payments, and expense reimbursements in a timely manner.
  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial data.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities by providing relevant financial information and analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve financial discrepancies and improve processes.
  • Assist in the year-end audit process by providing necessary documentation and support.
