Job Summary: The Account Officer is responsible for understanding and analyzing the overall financial health of the company, ensuring accuracy of data, and proactively communicating findings to enable decision-making.
Compensation & Benefits: Negotiable
Reporting To: Finance Manager
Tenure: 2 years (renewable)

Professional Pre-requisites

2-3 years of experience in accounting in similar position
Knowledge of Tax Compliance
Familiar with any accounting software
Excellent communication with reporting and presentation skills
Advanced MS Excel skills including preparation of various graphs & analyzing trend

Areas of Responsibility

Manage & maintain correct complete records and submit all required reports in an accurate and timely manner.
Prepare projection and provisional reports.
Prepare budget forecasts, finalization and presentation.
Compute taxes, process tax payments and returns.
Cross-checking invoices with payments and expenses to ensure accuracy.
Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity.
Comply with financial policies and regulations.
Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity.
Assist in Audit financial transactions and documents.
Handle accounts payable and receivable.
Reconcile Banks, Debtors, Creditors on regular basis.
