  • Excellent customer service skills and experience in dealing with the public

Job Description

  • Establish and implement proper accounting management systems and processes that provide accurate, current and complete disclosure of accounts and financial transactions in line with organizational requirements as per prevailing accounting principles
  • Periodically prepare and submit various Accounting/Financial reports and Bank/IRD related documents to top level management and corresponding bodies
  • Responsible for timely import procedure and bank related activities  LC/TT/DD/RTGS/BG/PG/TR Interest rate/renew/proposal etc
  • Computation & filing of VAT, Excise/ Income Tax/Returns of the organization
  • Responsible for  timely year-end audit 
  • Handle cash and bank transactions and other correspondence with the bank
  • Ensure that salaries are paid by the due date
  • Ensure timely collection and payment mechanism to the suppliers and buyers.
  • Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments and obligations, to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice
  • Research and reconcile all discrepancies periodically 
  • Set up, monitor and present accounting KPIs/Key Accounts Metrics to top level management followed by meeting financial accounting objectives
  • Liaising with banks, financial institutes and government bodies involving business activities to ensure proper compliance with laws and accounting practices
  • Oversee the Inventory management System from the accounting and financial point of view Periodically and verify/evaluate the stock and reconciliation of records and submitting the quarterly report with recommendations of the same by coordinating with the concerned department head.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of management and across organization with excellent communication and peer leadership abilities.
  • Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions
  • Evaluate the expenditures control system and minimize minimize company expenses wherever possible
  • Design and implement sound internal control system to safeguard financial records and documents of organization
  • Lead the team effectively and hold them accountable displaying discipline and coherence adhering to office rules and regulations
  • Provide training to new and existing staff as needed and guide them to meet up to standards
  • Other Ad Hoc duties when required and as assigned by top level management
  • Update oneself, maintain and share with colleagues as appropriate, personal knowledge of all relevant prevailing organizational policies and procedures directly affecting the company, primarily relating to Income Tax, VAT, Excise, tariffs and duties, licenses & restrictions and its amendments
