Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Account / Finance Officer to join our Finance and Accounts department at Prime Power. We are looking for an individual with a strong background in accounting and finance, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work under pressure. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to work with and learn from our team of experienced professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage financial transactions, including processing invoices, receipts, and payments.
Keep accurate records of all financial transactions and update them in the accounting software.
Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies.
Monitor accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
Prepare monthly and yearly financial reports for review by management.
Assist in the preparation of budget reports and forecasts.
Ensure adherence to all financial regulations and assist with tax filings.
Collaborate with other departments to accurately record financial transactions.
Identify areas for cost-cutting and recommend ways to improve financial efficiency.
Support the finance team during audits and manage relationships with auditors.
Participate in month-end and year-end close processes.
Monitor financial security by following internal controls and reporting any potential risks.

Other Specification

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Account Officer or similar role.
Sound understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Proficiency in using accounting software.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
