Job Description

Reporting to: To be answerable to CEO/DCEO.

A. Major Functions / Responsibilities:

  • To manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department.
  • To monitor and analyzing accounting data and produce financial reports or statements
  • To establish and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies and principle

  • To improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions
  • To assign  staffs to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • To meet financial accounting objectives.
  • To establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions
  • To Ensure financial reliability and compliance with all the applicable regulation and directives.
  • To objectively review organization’s business processes.
  • To evaluate the efficacy of risk management procedures that is currently in place.
  • To protect against fraud and theft of the organization’s assets.
  • To make recommendations on how to improve internal controls and governance processes and suggest cost saving measures.
  • To create an evaluation mechanism regarding the financial ability.
  • To refrain from engaging in prohibited activities that may result in a conflict of interest
  • To inquire or ask questions of management personnel related to the effectiveness of the current internal controls.
  • To confirm whether the goals and objectives of the business are being met.
  • To  Maintain open communication with audit committee and management.

B.  Sub Functions / Responsibilities:

  • To assist in hiring process in Account department.
  • To give attention to accuracy and detailing.
  • To create SOP for the department.
  • To assist in hiring process of the employee of the account department.
