Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Account Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of the trading industry and possess strong communication skills in both written and spoken English.

Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for all transactions involving exports and imports.
Assist in processing and monitoring invoices, payments, and other financial documents.
Perform bank reconciliations, ensure timely payments, and follow up on any discrepancies.
Handle mail communications with clients and suppliers.
Prepare reports and analyses on a regular basis to track and monitor financial performance.
Monitor inventory levels and maintain proper documentation for all inventory movements.
Work closely with the sales and operations team to ensure smooth financial processes.
Keep up-to-date with any changes in import/export regulations and ensure compliance.
Assist in preparing documents for customs clearance and liaise with relevant authorities when necessary.
Collaborate with the accounting team to support in month-end and year-end closing activities.
Knowledge of Tally software to maintain all financial transactions and records.
