Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Account Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of the trading industry and possess strong communication skills in both written and spoken English.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for all transactions involving exports and imports.
  • Assist in processing and monitoring invoices, payments, and other financial documents.
  • Perform bank reconciliations, ensure timely payments, and follow up on any discrepancies.
  • Handle mail communications with clients and suppliers.
  • Prepare reports and analyses on a regular basis to track and monitor financial performance.
  • Monitor inventory levels and maintain proper documentation for all inventory movements.
  • Work closely with the sales and operations team to ensure smooth financial processes.
  • Keep up-to-date with any changes in import/export regulations and ensure compliance.
  • Assist in preparing documents for customs clearance and liaise with relevant authorities when necessary.
  • Collaborate with the accounting team to support in month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Knowledge of Tally software to maintain all financial transactions and records.
