Job Description

As an Account Assistant, you play a crucial role in our organization's financial operations, contributing to the efficiency of our financial services by combining technical expertise with effective communication to support end-users and maintain the smooth functioning of accounts systems.

Report To: Mukunda Bhattarai (Chief Accountant)

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Managing all financial transactions including billing, payments, and collections both internally and externally.
  • Preparing financial reports such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Maintaining financial records that are accurate, up-to-date, and properly maintained in accordance with accounting standards and hospital policies.
  • Coordinating with other departments such as the management, medical records, procurement and purchase (and other relevant departments) to ensure that financial transactions are processed efficiently and accurately.
  • Managing and preparing hospital budgets, ensuring that expenses are controlled within budgetary limits while maintaining high standards of patient care and service delivery.
  • Providing financial analysis to the hospital's senior management team to help them make informed decisions about financial matters, such as investment opportunities or cost reduction strategies.
  • Ensuring that the hospital complies with all relevant regulatory requirements related to financial reporting and management practices.
  • Stay up-to-date and adhere to current and future financial policies to ensure compliance and accuracy in financial transactions.

Qualification: 

  • BBA with prior experience in a finance department.
