Job Description

Asian Feeds is a large tax paying organization and focuses on total quality management. This position requires candidates to assist the Accounts Manager in day to day operations.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Document financial transactions by entering account information
Assist with the preparation of financial statements
Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
Analyse and reconcile bank statements and general ledgers
Update journal entries for accrued expenses and revenue
Maintain accounting controls by following policies and procedures; complying with legal requirements
Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
Make bank deposits when required
Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed
Assist in handling monthly, quarterly and annual account closings
Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports
