We are committed to the preservation and promotion of the tradition, medieval architecture, and heritage of the Loba people. The Loba people are ethnically Tibetan inhabitants of Upper Mustang, Nepal. We preserve and promote Loba culture by supporting education, healthcare, infrastructure, nature conservation, and restoration of art and heritage.

Position: Account and Admin Officer
Type: Full-Time

Position Overview:

The Account and Admin Officer will be responsible for managing the financial and administrative functions of the foundation. This role is critical in ensuring the efficient operation of the organization, handling tasks such as financial reporting, bookkeeping, budget management, and office administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, invoices, receipts, and payments.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable.
  • Prepare financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
  • Liaise with external auditors and facilitate the auditing process.
  • Oversee daily office operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
  • Manage office supplies, equipment, and inventory.
  • Coordinate meetings, events, and travel arrangements.
  • Maintain and organize official documents and records.
  • Assist in HR functions, including employee records, attendance tracking, and payroll processing.
  • Ensure timely submission of financial reports to the Social Welfare Council (SWC), donors, relevant authorities, and government entities.
  • Monitor and enforce compliance with organizational policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting and administrative roles.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, with a strong emphasis on Tally.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.

Note: 

  • Preference shall be given to candidates with prior working experience in NGOs/INGOs.
  • Must have a valid two-wheeler license.
