Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking a dynamic, experienced, and visionary Academic Director to provide academic leadership across all grades. The ideal candidate will ensure effective curriculum implementation, support teachers, monitor academic standards, and promote innovative, student-centered learning.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee academic planning, curriculum implementation, and timely syllabus completion across assigned grades.
Plan and coordinate academic assessments, examinations, co-curricular activities, and major school events.
Ensure effective classroom management, student discipline, and the maintenance of a safe, positive, and supportive learning environment.
Monitor students’ academic progress and coordinate with parents regarding performance, development, and areas requiring support.
Lead and monitor academic programs, curriculum delivery, assessment practices, and overall teaching-learning standards.
Supervise and support teachers through regular classroom observations, constructive feedback, academic planning, mentoring, and professional development initiatives.
Monitor student performance and collaborate with teachers and academic coordinators to identify learning gaps and implement strategies to improve learning outcomes.
Promote modern, technology-integrated, innovative, and student-centered teaching and learning practices throughout the school.
Coordinate effectively with school management, teachers, students, parents, and other stakeholders on academic and student-related matters.

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Graduate (Masters)

Required Experience:More than 5 years

Other Specification

Master’s Degree in any subject from a recognized university.
Minimum 3-5 years of relevant teaching and administrative experience in a reputed school.
Experience in academic coordination or school leadership will be an advantage.
Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Strong command of spoken and written English with good knowledge of modern teaching practices.
Strong knowledge of IT, computers and digital educational tools.
Ability to integrate technology into teaching, learning and school management.
Familiarity with modern teaching aids, technology and interactive learning methods.

Salary: NPR 80,000 per month, along with food and other applicable allowances.
