Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Kathmandu for an Academic Counselor. As an Academic Counselor, you will be responsible for providing guidance and support to students in their academic and career pursuits. You will assist students in setting academic goals, selecting courses, and creating study plans. Additionally, you will provide resources and information on university programs, career options, and scholarship opportunities. The role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish positive relationships with students, parents, and faculty members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any faculty 
• Proven experience in academic counseling or student advising
• Strong knowledge of educational systems, programs, and career paths
• Excellent communication, listening, and problem-solving skills
• Empathy and ability to understand and support students' needs
• Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with faculty and staff
• Proficiency in computer skills and education-related software
• Understanding of confidentiality and ethical guidelines in counseling
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Experience in college or university counseling services is a plus.
