Job Description

Job Summary:

The Academic Coordinator will be responsible for guiding, motivating, and supporting children to uplift their educational standards. This role involves working closely with schools, staff, management, and donor organizations to ensure the best academic and developmental outcomes for the students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create a purposeful, safe, and supportive learning environment.
  • Engage with schools to discuss students’ academic progress and well-being.
  • Communicate with parents, caregivers, and colleagues about students’ development, objectives, and career options.
  • Advise the HCF Board and donor organizations on academic needs and resources.
  • Coordinate with the General Manager and Hostel In-charge to ensure effective policy delivery and best practices.
  • Prepare educational development plans and reports on children's academic performance.
  • Develop strategies to improve academic results.
  • Conduct in-house schooling for children with age or academic gaps.
  • Monitor and supervise daily study routines and attendance.
  • Provide academic counselling on course selection, policies, and success strategies.
  • Maintain up-to-date academic records (grades, certificates, transcripts, etc.).
  • Organize educational and recreational activities for weekends and holidays.
  • Administer mock tests and prepare students for external exams.
  • Take full responsibility for the children's overall well-being—physically, mentally, and socially.
