  • A Master’s degree (or Bachelors' Degree with significant experiences) in Communication, Journalism or relevant field is required

Experience:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ relevant work experience (4 years for bachelor level) in a similar job is required
  • Prior demonstrated experience in website content generation and management is required
  • Prior experience preferably with Government of Nepal, INGO/NGO, Donor Projects in Nepal is preferable
  • Familiarization in climate change, adaptation and environmental management and mainstreaming in development processes  in Nepal is preferable

Language:

  • Excellent written and oral communication skill in English and Nepali are required


Job Description

  • Proofread/edit documents produced by the NAP PMU, its consultants and key NAP process institutions 
  • Write project briefs, press releases brochures, policy briefs and other communication materials
  • Compile a digital photo-library documenting the NAP process
  • Maintain and regularly update the NAP web portal by writing and posting news updates, press releases, briefing documents, and other relevant documents
  • Guide CCDM and PMU staff on contributing materials for the web portal
