About the job

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled WordPress Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing and maintaining WordPress websites, with a strong focus on backend development. You will be responsible for building custom themes and plugins, optimizing website performance, and ensuring the security of our websites.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress themes.
Optimize website performance, ensuring fast load times and efficient operation.
Implement and manage website security measures.
Troubleshoot and resolve website issues and bugs.
Collaborate with front-end developers and designers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
Ensure the scalability and reliability of WordPress websites.
Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in WordPress: Extensive experience with WordPress development, including theme and plugin development.
Programming Languages: Strong PHP, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 knowledge.
Database Management: Experience with MySQL and database management.
Version Control: Proficiency with version control systems such as Git.
APIs: Experience with RESTful APIs and integration.
Security: Understanding of WordPress security best practices and implementation.
Performance Optimization: Knowledge of techniques to optimize website performance, such as caching, CDN integration, and minimizing load times.

Experience:

Work Experience: At least 2-5 years of experience in backend WordPress development.
Project Management: Experience in managing and delivering projects on time.
Problem Solving: Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
