Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are looking for PHP programmers and Wordpress backend developers on a long-term basis. The main responsibility of the candidate will be to build and/or edit Wordpress plugins, to develop custom PHP CMS that comply with the latest technologies, SEO semantic coding standards, and page speed relevant settings, adhere to best practices in terms of cross-device and cross-browser compatibility and meet usability and accessibility standards.

Major Tasks:

Edit free and commercial Wordpress plugins
Create new custom Wordpress plugins as per clients’ needs
Troubleshooting and fix backend-end issues with minimal supervision in Wordpress as well as Custom PHP codes
Ensuring compliance with Web standards and accessibility requirements
Customizing free and commercial web themes (mostly Wordpress)
Working with web designers and front-end developers to turn their static pages into working web pages
Staying up-to-date with web developments and SEO relevant standards

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 2 years

Other Specification

Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, PHP and Bootstraping.
CMS Wordpress
Theme and Plugin Customization
Familier with buddypress, ACF, bbpress, WPML, event calendar and gravity form
Cross browser testing and debugging
Good communication skills (English speaking/writing skills).
Service providing and client dedicated attitude.
Eye for detail
Punctuality, accuracy and ability to meet deadlines are essential.
Minimum 2 years of proven back-end web programming/developing experience with Wordpress is essential.
Online portfolio of work samples demonstrating back-end technical expertise required

Knowledge of any other PHP based open source CMS or e-commerce platform than Wordpress

experience with WordPress page builders WP Bakery, Elementor, Divi

Preferred Years of Experience: Min: 2, Max: Any
