Roles and responsibilities of this job

Newmew is looking for a creative, hands-on, and commercially aware Videographer / Video Editor to create high-quality visual content for our products, e-commerce, advertising, and brand campaigns.

The ideal candidate combines strong visual and technical skills with an understanding of what makes video content engaging and effective for e-commerce and advertising.

Key Responsibilities

Video Production

Plan, shoot, and produce high-quality product, lifestyle, and campaign videos.
Set up and operate cameras, lighting, audio, and other production equipment.
Shoot product-focused content showcasing eyewear design, features, and fit.
Coordinate with models, creators, and other team members during shoots.
Maintain consistent visual quality and brand standards.

Video Editing

Edit short-form and long-form videos for e-commerce, advertising, and digital platforms.
Create performance marketing creatives for Meta, Google/YouTube, and other platforms.
Create different versions of videos to test hooks, messaging, and formats.
Handle color correction, basic color grading, sound, subtitles, transitions, and motion graphics.
Adapt videos for different platforms, placements, and aspect ratios.

Creative & Performance

Develop video concepts based on campaign and business objectives.
Create strong hooks and engaging visual storytelling.
Use performance data and feedback to improve future video creatives.
Build and maintain an organized library of footage, product shots, and B-roll.
Stay updated with relevant video and advertising trends.

Collaboration

Work closely with the Marketing and E-commerce & Digital Growth teams.
Collaborate with designers, models, creators, and external production partners.
Manage projects and deliver final assets on schedule.

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 2 years

Other Specification

2–4 years of professional experience in videography, video production, or video editing.
Strong portfolio/showreel demonstrating both shooting and editing skills.
Proficiency in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
Working knowledge of After Effects or other motion graphics tools is a plus.
Strong understanding of camera operation, lighting, composition, audio, and storytelling.
Experience creating short-form and digital advertising content.
Strong attention to detail and visual quality.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with e-commerce, DTC, fashion, eyewear, beauty, or lifestyle brands.
Experience creating Meta or Google/YouTube advertising creatives.
Product videography and studio lighting experience.
Basic photography skills.
Experience working with models, creators, or UGC-style content.
Motion graphics and color grading experience.

NewMew Nepal -Within a year of observing the rapid increase in eyewear demand, we redirected our focus towards future expansion. Consequently, we successfully opened three additional stores in Newroad, Pokhara, and Butwal, both inside and outside the valley.
