Thaha Khabar is a news agency that has just entered its 18th year of operation. As the company grows, we are looking to advance our social media and online presence. 

We are looking a creative Video Editor who can edit short format videos (1-3 mins) as well as long format videos (45-90 mins) e.g: Shorts, Reels, TikTok, Youtube Videos, Interviews, Podcast and so on).

Key Responsibilities

1. Editing and Assembly:

• Cutting and assembling raw footage into a cohesive narrative. 
• Adding transitions, music, sound effects, and visual effects. 
• Performing colour correction and grading. 
• Adding text overlays and captions. 

2. Technical Proficiency:

• Expertise in video editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar. 
• Understanding of video formats, codecs, and resolutions. 
• Ability to handle and organise large video files. 
• Knowledge of audio editing and mixing. 

3. Quality Control:

• Ensuring videos meet technical and quality standards. 
• Identifying and correcting errors or inconsistencies. 
• Adhering to brand guidelines and style preferences. 

4. Project Management:

• Managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines. 
• Organising and maintaining project files and assets. 
• Communicating project status and revisions effectively.
